Beautiful views, Off-trail adventuring, and Irreplaceable Memories
We did the 3-day, 2-night hike with Enrico (Day 1 and 2), and Giulia (Day 3). We stayed in a mountain hut the first night and more of a bnb the second night. Enrico was very knowledgeable about the region, the wildlife, the trails, and the weather patterns. That alone made the trek very interesting. Every time we took a break, he pointed out the nearby wildlife and explained the livelihood of people living in/near the Alps. If I recall, the level of our hike was "moderate" and I would say it is good for people with some hiking experience and are okay with some strenuous incline. I will note that we DID go off-trail for a bit (on-purpose) which made for a more adventurous (and strenuous) hike, and it was super enjoyable! The guides will cater the trek around your comfort level and will only push if you're up for the challenge. The mountain hut was cozy and it was nice to not have to set up your own shelter. I think we would have appreciated it even more if we were hiking in the winter and were getting out of the cold. The bnb was wonderful and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend a taste of both mountain huts and bnbs if you can swing it.I'd recommend any sort of multi-day trek for anyone remotely interested in trekking the Alps in some way. There's a trek for all ages and fitness levels.

A memorable 3-day, 2-night trek through a wilderness experience with Roberto in Gran Paradiso. It was quite an adventure seeing the majestic mountains towering into the sky, the gushing waterfalls, the fleeting glimpse of the Chamois and the Ibex clambering on near vertical walls. What made it even better is sharing all this with fellow hikers.

Fabulous 3-day trek in the Aosta Valley
We did a three-day, two-night trek with Roberto in early June in the Aosta Valley, and we were extremely pleased with our experience from beginning to end. After our first email inquiry, Roberto suggested a Skype call to get to know us a bit so that he could plan a trip that would best suit our interests and abilities -- and he did just that! The scenery was spectacular, and while we saw virtually no other hikers on our trip, we did see lots of ibex. We stayed in two unguarded huts and had them all to ourselves. Roberto made us delicious Italian dinners each night. Roberto was patient and encouraging on the hike (I am not the fastest hiker!) and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable for us! We highly recommend Trekking Alps.

    Simply amazing
Our mountain hikes with Trekking Alps were nothing short of extraordinary. We found Roberto to be an excellent guide and also a great conversationist. It was an incredibly authentic experience, always stopping for a local panino and coffee before setting off. For our two day-hikes, Roberto made a point of choosing the best possible destinations for the time of year. We cannot wait to book another adventure with Trekking Alps!

    Gran Paradiso – 2 nights/3 days
My first experience of trekking and it was great. Roberto was extremely helpful to begin with, responding to questions etc very quickly and clearly. He also built something that worked for us. The trek itself was amazing and Elisabetta was a great guide, friendly and knowledgeable, with the right amount of walking each day. The surroundings were beautiful and lots to explore. Would definitely recommend!

    Excellent one-day trek with Enrico!
Extremely happy with my Trekking Alps experience!!! Booked one-day trek with Enrico and initial communication before I arrived in Italy was excellent. Enrico did a great job of understanding my athletic ability, explaining the equipment needed and coordinating a pick up point. On the day, he picked me and another couple up from our hotels in Turin and we drove an hour north of Turin to a small village called Viu. There we bought food for our break- Enrico translated for us in the butcher shop and we got some lovely venison sausage and cheeses made in the village as well as bread. Then we drove about another 15 minutes up the mountain and started off on the hike. At first the walk was easy on a gravel path but after about one mile, the fun kicked in and we started up the steep gradient. Enrico did a very impressive job of guiding us as well as explaining the geography, local flora and fauna and thoroughly answering every question we had. The scenery was breathtaking throughout: waterfalls, valleys, views of adjacent ranges and lakes. Although the hike was extremely challenging (and I consider myself to be pretty fit), it was exhilarating and a once in a lifetime experience. Worth every penny. Enrico's knowledge of the terrain combined with his contagious passion for nature and easy going manner made the trip that much more enjoyable. After our descent and ride back to Viu, Enrico introduced me to a local Piedmonte liquor called Genepy Granger as I'd asked him for a recommendation for a good grappa. It was super strong and very good! All in all, a very enjoyable day. If you're thinking of booking a hike in the Piedmonte region, I would not hesitate to recommend Trekking-Alps. They did a fantastic job! Thanks Enrico.

Roberto is the best guide you could hope to find
First, he knows the mountains. He grew up here and knows all the peaks and valleys intimately. He understands when weather and other conditions make it necessary to find alternate routes. Second, he knows people. He gets to know each member of his group, their strengths and capabiltiites, and fine-tunes the treks to accomodate everyone. Third, he understands how to tack on an extra hike or exploration for those who need to push themselves a little harder, uncovering unexpected delights in the Alps. Fourth, he is a great cook, and is able to make cost-effective yet extremely tasty meals after a long day of hiking. Finally, his passion shows through everything he does. We could not have asked for, or found, a better guide, companion and friend than Roberto. We are exited to do another trek with Roberto.

Awesome experience trekking the Susa Valley!
Earlier this year we met Roberto and he took us snowshoeing through the Susa valley and it was an awesome experience that everyone should do. Roberto was a patient and accommodating guide. He had all the extra gear we needed for the trek, and we weren't left short missing out on anything. We came from Milan in the day and it worked perfectly. The sights were beautiful and it was all worthwhile! Thank you Roberto!

    Amazing trip to Lanzo Valley
Roberto is familiar with the landscape and hike at a comfortable pace. He even prepared extra gears for me after checking out the weather on the morning itself. The scenery around Lanzo Valley is breathtaking. Look for Roberto if you are keen to explore. You are in good hands with him around.

Excellent 2 days walking in Mt.Robeinet
Roberto was an excellent guide for a couple days hiking near Turino (specially at Mt Robinet). From the initial engagement through to arriving in Turino, Roberto was very helpful and excellent replies on email/whatsapp - ensuring that we had everyting we needed for the tour. During the guided hike, Roberto is an extrememly personalble guy. So friendly, and was very knowledgeable on the local area, and his passion for the outdoors was infectious! i would definitely recommend Roberto and Trekking Alps again.
