It is just amazing the breathtaking places we can reach in the nearby mountains starting from Torino, Piedmont. In a simple day trek in Piedmont, we can explore one of the marvelous valleys next to Torino, which hosted the Winter Olympic games in 2006. Torino is set in Piedmont a marvelous region in the northwest of Italy. The day trek can be organized all year round!

There are thousands of reasons why to visit Piedmont : wine hills of Alba, Reggia di Venaria, Sacra di San Michele and many other beautiful important cites like Egyptian museum and cinema museum. Independently from the reason why you are in Torino, to not have a hike in the Alps would be just unforgettable. The most impressive and unforgettable experience is waiting for you up there, at less than one hour drive on the earth of the Alps.

We'll take care of it. In a Day trek in Piedmont, we are going to explore one of the tens of mountain valleys which are next to Torino and we will be back for dinner. Usually, the starting time will be around 9 AM.

You don’t need a car to join the day trek in Piedmont as we will meet in Fermi metro station. Please notice that the lunch is not included in the price and we will stop in some nice and typical grocery shop in the mountain to get some amazing cheese and local food.     Excellent one-day trek with Enrico!
    Extremely happy with my Trekking Alps experience!!! Booked one-day trek with Enrico and initial communication before I arrived in Italy was excellent. Enrico did a great job of understanding my athletic ability, explaining the equipment needed and coordinating a pick up point. On the day, he picked me and another couple up from our hotels in Turin and we drove an hour north of Turin to a small village called Viu. There we bought food for our break- Enrico translated for us in the butcher shop and we got some lovely venison sausage and cheeses made in the village as well as bread. Then we drove about another 15 minutes up the mountain and started off on the hike. At first the walk was easy on a gravel path but after about one mile, the fun kicked in and we started up the steep gradient. Enrico did a very impressive job of guiding us as well as explaining the geography, local flora and fauna and thoroughly answering every question we had. The scenery was breathtaking throughout: waterfalls, valleys, views of adjacent ranges and lakes. Although the hike was extremely challenging (and I consider myself to be pretty fit), it was exhilarating and a once in a lifetime experience. Worth every penny. Enrico's knowledge of the terrain combined with his contagious passion for nature and easy going manner made the trip that much more enjoyable. After our descent and ride back to Viu, Enrico introduced me to a local Piedmonte liquor called Genepy Granger as I'd asked him for a recommendation for a good grappa. It was super strong and very good! All in all, a very enjoyable day. If you're thinking of booking a hike in the Piedmonte region, I would not hesitate to recommend Trekking-Alps. They did a fantastic job! Thanks Enrico.

    One of Best Experiences of my Life
    Amazing. Elisabetta picked us in the train station in Torino and we drove to meet Roberto and another hiker. Roberto had all the extra gear we needed for the trip. We had an amazing hike to see Monte Viso. The view was breathtaking. We then continued to hike down and just enjoy all the weather and beautiful countryland. Roberto and Betta are very sweet and great people to spend a day with. Hope to do it again soon.
