Student Trips in the Alps

Went with my family just after Christmas. It was a wonderful experience, Roberto was a great guide! The trek offered wonderful views of the alps. The lodge we stayed at was very comfortable and run by wonderful staff. I could not have asked for a better way to end my vacation in Italy.

Hiking in the Alps was so so good, and so beautiful and so perfect and so rewarding - thank you Roberto for planning it for us, and being the best guide we could have imagined. You made our whole Italy trip fantastic and the 6 days hiking is our trip highlight! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for such a fantastic glimpse into 'your' mountains. We feel so privileged to have been able to have you show us around.

The first time I went hiking with Roberto 2 years ago I was so impressed, I knew I would be back again. So here I am! This time I shared a long weekend with 9 friends, Roberto and Elisabetta. They are now my special people I can call family ! Roberto went to extreme lengths to make our trip incredibly fun and showed us a side of Italy only locals would know about. I cannot thank him enough for the time he invested to think about all the small details. We were mostly vegetarians and once again the food was fantastic. For Roberto, Trekking Alps is not just a job, he is truly passionate about the mountains which subsequently means he knows the BEST spots to go hiking. He is an excellent mountain guide, and together him and Elisabetta make a great team. I am already thinking about trip number 3! Definitely a trip to remember with endless amounts of laughter!!! Our mountain hikes with Trekking Alps were nothing short of extraordinary. We found Roberto to be an excellent guide and also a great conversationist. It was an incredibly authentic experience, always stopping for a local panino and coffee before setting off. For our two day-hikes, Roberto made a point of choosing the best possible destinations for the time of year. We cannot wait to book another adventure with Trekking Alps!

Amazing. Elisabetta picked us in the train station in Torino and we drove to meet Roberto and another hiker. Roberto had all the extra gear we needed for the trip. We had an amazing hike to see Monte Viso. The view was breathtaking. We then continued to hike down and just enjoy all the weather and beautiful countryland. Roberto and Betta are very sweet and great people to spend a day with. Hope to do it again soon.

We've been hiking with Roberto of Trekking Alps several times and each instance has been absolutely excellent. He definitely goes the extra distance to make sure each trip is not only memorable, but customized to the expectations and abilities of his clients. His intimate knowledge of the area coupled with his boundless enthusiasm results in enjoyable and rewarding experiences. We'll continue to hike with him whenever we're in Torino going in the Italian Alps!

My wife and I went to Italy for our honeymoon and wanted to spend 2 days in the Alps. Roberto was fantastic. For our honeymoon, we could not have asked for a better experience! His knowledge of the local mountains and their climates proved to be excellent as he guided us away from an oncoming storm, took us to a secluded and breath taking vista, and we had a close encounter with Ibex! All the while, he was a joy to talk to and made every person in the group feel welcome. I haven't gone with other guides, but I won't ever have to look for another the next time we go to Italy. Our choice will be simple, we'll go with Trekking Alps!

Hiking with Roberto was one of the best experiences i"ve had. For the dates that I wanted to hike the weather was suppose to be horrible, so Roberto researched for the best possible place we can hike and not be affected by the weather and he found the best place! we hiked for 2 days, stayed in a hut and watched the sun rise on top of the clouds on the peak. He arranges everything according to our ability and what we want. I recommend this for everyone!

My husband and I had the Monviso tour in Alp, guided by Roberto last August. For me it was really challenging since it was my first hiking. But by Roberto's patience and experience I was able to embrace the pain and difficulties. It was a great experience and we have plan to join Roberto for more tours in the future. During the trekking trip you might struggle with so much pain in your body, but my advise is don't get distracted by it so much and pay more attention to your surrounding and the beauty of the Alps than to your pain. Because in the end what you will remember is just the amazing sceneries and the team company!
