Alpe Devero Park Hiking

Alpe Veglia e Alpe Devero Park in is an amazing place to hike located near Lake Maggiore, in north Piedmont.

In particular the hike here described is a very nice trail discovering all the Park from Alpe Veglia to the Alpe Devero. In being quite far by the big cities this wonderful valleys near near Lake Maggiore are great for hiking! The Alpe Veglia and Devero Park is very uncrowded and is wonderful area to live the mounatins by yourself. Alpe Devero Wild Hike is a great opportunity to discover the Alps between Italy and Switzerland, in a very beautiful and remote area not far from the wonderful nice Lake Maggiore, in the north of Piedmont. There are several opportunities and if you want to make the hike harder or longer of what you see described here there will not be problems. Alpe Devero Hike Wild hike is just an example of the very many that Trekking Alps is able to organize in this beautiful part of the Alps.

Alpe Devero is a Walser area, which was a very interesting population living as nomads in the extreme conditions of the Alps. These mountains are full of interesting cultural aspect to deep. The area is full of lakes and, in the nearby Formazza Valley, it hosts also the Largest waterfall of Europe, the Toce waterfalls.

Alpe Devero is a remote and amazing Park at the border with Switzerland

The area has pretty well-marked paths and it is not very steep. In terms of wildlife is not the best area of the Alps but it is not uncommon to spot some typical alpine animal.

Alpe Devero is a great place to hike also for families as the paths are longer and less steep than many other areas. Moreover, the lodges are very comfortable and we can be very flexible in terms of the length of the day hike.
