Tour of Bessanese

Tour of Bessanese consists of long walking (4 to 8 hours) in a real high mountain environment. This interesting trekking

consists of an extremely exciting tour around the beautiful peaks of Bessanese (3604m) and Croce Rossa(3566m) which we will able to climb in the second day. If you like forests and low mountain settings this is not the right hike for you while if you want to enjoy open spaces, big views and alpine lakes in the rocks, Tour of Bessanese is the best option for you! It is not the right trekking as a first mountain experience as the daily hike is quite tough but it’s your excellent choice if you want to experience wild settings and remote valleys.

Most of the Tour of Bessanese hike is developed at high elevation (around 2500m) and ambient is harsh and remote: we will not meet any village for four days.

Lakes, rocks and wild valleys are the setting of this adventure. After every daily trek, we will find a comfortable shelter offering excellent hot dinner. Shelters are open from June to September but it is still possible to have access to the winter shelter: no hot meal but much cheaper price.
