Val Grande National Park Hiking

Val Grande National Park is the widest area of wilderness in Italy. This Val Grande National Park Hiking will give
DISPLAY FULL DESCRIPTION
you a strong taste of wilderness and the unique views over the Maggiore lake and the Monte Rosa region. The territory here is really wild and the paths are pretty small and rough. In this in Val Grande National Park Hiking, the mountains are not very high but pretty steep and the landscapes in the highlands are simply amazing. It is possible to sleep in the unguarded huts in the middle of the parks but these huts are very basic. It is the only hike of the whole Trekking Alps offer that does not provide beds and blankets. Due to a lower altitude with respect to other hiking areas, the mountains have still mice and it is not possible to leave here mattresses and blankets. For this reason, we need to bring with us the mattresses and we will sleep on the ground.

Val Grande National Park: the Sanctuary of Wilderness of Europe!

The huts though are very new and nice and look like new houses, with stones outside and woods inside. Usually, it is possible to light up a fire and it is not difficult that other people will use the huts as the area is pretty famous not only from Torino but also from the Milano area. Hiking in Val Grande National Park it is possible to admire wonderful landscapes over the Monte Rosa and the Swiss Alps towards the west. On the other side, it is amazing to see the lakes zone: Maggiore, Orta and Varese Lake are shining in the middle of the Italian Alps. This hike Val Grande National Park Hiking is fit for those who want to experience a real adventure with a possibly severe environment. The Paths are pretty steep and dangerous and only experienced hikers are suggested to choose this trek.
