Reviews for this Hike
Trekking Alps = Great Experience
I spent 2 days trekking with Roberto in the Aosta Valley. The hiking was fantastic, complete with epic vistas, wildlife sightings, and a convivial night in an unguarded hut. This man understands how to make a trip run smoothly. He adeptly handled all of the details and set up what turned out to be a splendid adventure. His English is very fluent, he promptly responds to emails, and he is very flexible and accommodating to meet your needs.
He is extremely personable and can talk intelligently on many subjects, which makes him an ideal trekking companion. He also managed to find others to join our trek, which reduced the cost, added to the camaraderie, and made the trip a truly international experience.
Following our 2 day trek, he found me a perfect little B&B in his village, from which I could spend another 2 days hiking the local mountains, and he even borrowed me a map and gave me a ride to the train station afterwards.
All-in-all, a first class experience. I highly recommend this service and would definitely do it again.

Fun, Philosophy and the art of hiking
Me and my husband spent 5 days hiking in Gran Paradiso with Roberto in September and the title pretty much summarizes our trip. Having done several expedition style long treks worldwide, our respect for short, but challenging short hikes grew tremendously. The great thing about Roberto being the flexibility and ease with which he can adapt and suggest hikes to suit your state of mind or body. We find one challenging and one scenic hike and enjoyed both.
He also gives you the option of hiking with a few others, which makes it interesting or on your own which is cool too!
Post hike dinners were awesome with topics ranging from world geopolitics to cuisine to existential discussions.
We will certainly come back to hike with Roberto again.
Hikes in Monte Rosa and Gran Paradiso
Roberto was a thoughtful, organized, and kind guide, and arranged a great trip for our small group of family and friends. The weather and scenery were fantastic, and the refugios (mountain B and Bs, in effect) in the Monte Rosa area were truly excellent. Highly recommended! Many thanks to Roberto for a great time.
Wonderful experience
Had wonderful experience with Roberto. Even though it was my first hike, Roberto made everything possible for me. He was very organised, warm and kind and always make sure that we had everything we need. I would definitely 100% recommend Roberto and would love to join another hike with him again one day. Thank you, Roberto =)
