The Amenity Trek in the Italian Alps is perfect for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the Italian mountains but prefer to sleep in a comfortable single room with all the facilities. With this guided tour you can enjoy the beauty of the Alps trekking togheter with the amazing Italian food, a comfortable private room where to sleep and a hot shower every day! It is not adventurous as the other hike but much more comfortable and nice. Moreover you can still experience the hiking experience at its best as we’ll go for amazing hikes in the area which is probably the most scenic and breathtaking of the all Alpine Arc.
The type of daily hike we’ll do starting from our bed and breakfast or hotel can be completely different and arranged according to your needs. In one day we can reach 3000 meters peaks as well as doing easy and naturalistic tours of the neighborhood, spotting Mont Blanc, Matterhorn and Gran Paradiso. This flexibility is ideal and especially is very fit when the temperature are cold in the mountains and most of the shelter are closed.
The duration of the hike is flexible: from 2 days to 6 Days hike.
The headquarter will be the small roman town of Aosta. Every day we will move in one of the tens of valleys next to this beautiful town for our daily hike. We will be back in town for dinner and the day after we will keep our hikes.

A must visit if you are in Italy. My friend and I went on this trek during the end of October and must say the colors of autumn were extraordinary. Roberto is an excellent guide who knows his stuff. After half way, the path of our trek became difficult and Roberto gave a motivational speech to not stop until the end ( which was not possible by me and had to take a couple of short breaks in between). When we finally reached the destination the view was breathtaking and we were accompanied by 4 other locals who were on a vacation. The best part was they were as young as 65 years old (2 and a half times my age) which made me look like a 100 year old man. At night Roberto cooked us dinner and we played cards in an old hut on top of the mountains. Overall is was an amazing experience I would definitely go for another trek with Roberto in the near future. Thank you Roberto.
Once in a while, you cross paths with people that alter your life, and Roberto is one of these. Besides being an experienced guide with a logical progression of inspiring and challenging hikes, he was a blast, and a perfect match to my husband. The two of them had me laughing often. He is one of Italy’s secrets, and reminds me of another Roberto… Roberto Tomba, an Italian Olympic skier. BUT, when guide Roberto stops, he does so to protect and provide for those he is guiding. When we were crossing a snow bank, my hands started screaming in pain. Immediately, he whipped off his gloves and let me wear them until I could actually move my fingers again. This was an Olympic move, making him my Italian hero. I can’t wait for our next adventure with him.
Me and my husband spent 5 days hiking in Gran Paradiso with Roberto in September and the title pretty much summarizes our trip.
Having done several expedition style long treks worldwide, our respect for short, but challenging short hikes grew tremendously.
The great thing about Roberto being the flexibility and ease with which he can adapt and suggest hikes to suit your state of mind or body. We find one challenging and one scenic hike and enjoyed both.
He also gives you the option of hiking with a few others, which makes it interesting or on your own which is cool too!
Post hike dinners were awesome with topics ranging from world geopolitics to cuisine to existential discussions.
We will certainly come back to hike with Roberto again.
I was initially slightly worried about the hike. Friends & family asked if I was crazy to go on a 3-day hike in winter, let alone doing the hike with a complete stranger. After all how prepared would I be – being a girl who has barely done any hikes in asia or trained for the hike at all? I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Roberto was awesome, and his easy-going personality was a joy to be around. He was very encouraging and he tailored the trip with many day hikes according to my ability and the weather. We were rewarded with a great sunset on the second-evening, as well as great weather on the very last day where we got a stunning view of the peaks within the Gran Paradiso nature reserve. I’d have to say it was money well-spent and I would definitely recommend Roberto to any others who would love to see the Italian alps in this authentic way!
I did two treks with Roberto this October, two consecutive days along with a friend in the Gran National Paradiso and the other, a two day trek with a larger group in park Orsiera. To begin with , Roberto is a wonderful guide, knowledgable, personable and very attentive to the needs of his clients. The scenery and hikes in this region are very beautiful. I would only ask you to be mindful that unguarded huts can be tough if you are into more comfortable travel, especially as they provide no electricity, water or bathrooms. As well, it is important to be part of a group of similar level of skills. Falling behind an experienced group can be intimidating and impose pressures that one does not need on a vacation. Having said so, I wholeheartedly recommend Roberto . You will not only meet a guide and enjoy your trip, but also make a wonderful friend.
Roberto went crazy for us planning the best trip we could have possibly imagined around inclement weather. The views we got where truly spectacular and it was an absolutely unparalleled experience. When I told Roberto I would be proposing to my girlfriend on the trip his eyes lit up and I could see right then that he was all in. He gave us a feel for Italian culture and we absolutely appreciated it. Despite his modesty Roberto’s English is very very good. By the time we left it felt like we where leaving a good friend not just a trekking guide. Thanks Roberto you’re the best.
