Day hike from Japan to the Italian Alps

In these months of trekking in the alps i did guide people from all around the world. Nevertheless Takemi was the first Japanese and I really enjoy her company! We planned a day hike after Easter and it was a success as we reached the fabulous Rocca Ciarva Peak in Pian della Mussa. The hike was a pretty hard due to snow but definitively worth the effort. Also we were lucky with the weather that in Torino looks very cloudy while in the mountains was sunny and not too cold. We met several skiers on our way up in the trek. We started in Balme village, in Ala valley, one hour twenty minutes drive up in the Alps from Turin. Sometimes people ask me if a Day hike Alps Tour worths. Well the answer came out easily from the pictures you see below.

Most of the people from Turin have no more than one day to spend in the mountains but the fact that the Alps are so close make the hike really perfect to do even for a single day trek. Especially now that the days are becoming longer and we have light until 7.30PM.

There are plenty of choices and you can see 4 different kind of Day hikes from turin:

Trekking Peak

Photography Walk

Cultural Day Hike

Winter Day Hike

Choose your target and come hike in the Italian Alps startinf from Torino!
